Allergy & Immunology Polyclinic, Tbilisi, Georgia
A bomb shelter stood on the plot, so the building was designed with a 30-metre-span ground floor, and three storeys were built on top of it.
The project was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, so natural ventilation and sunlight were built into the design. Every doctor’s consulting room faces east or south for good insolation, and a courtyard at the centre of the building brings natural ventilation to every space.
